After watching Jimmy Kimmel Live where he asked parents to give their kids a not so fun early Christmas gift, Brad decided to do the same thing to Grace. So we wrapped up a piece of bread. Grace was not amused…
Hopefully, Santa will bring her a little something better on Christmas.
After many weeks of Grace practicing all the Christmas songs she had learned at Mother’s Day Out. The day finally came for her to perform the songs with her class. Unfortunately, Grace came into the church crying saying she did not want to participate. So this was Grace during the performance…
Later on, Grace informed me that she just didn’t want to perform with the rest of her class. She wanted to sing all by herself.
As mentioned earlier, Autumn fell off the couch last Friday. I immediately thought something wasn’t right so I took her to the doctor. He couldn’t feel any broken bones so he gave us the all clear to go to Chattanooga, with instructions to call in the morning to report on how she was feeling.
The next day Autumn was still crying every time we picked her up so the doctor instructed us to take her to Vanderbilt Children’s hospital to get a X-ray. And lo and behold Autumn had broken her collarbone.
Poor baby!!!
She’s going to be better in three weeks or so. Until then we’re just trying to keep her happy and with as little pain as possible. She’s a trooper do we know she’ll be fine.
On Saturday, the day after the Polar Express train ride we all went to the Creative Discovery Museum in downtown Chattanooga. The girls had fun! Even Autumn!!
We can’t wait to go back again and spend more time there!!
Last Friday, we drove down to Chattanooga and met our cousins the Medley’s to take the Polar Express Train Ride to see Santa at the North Pole.
Grace was very excited…
Autumn, however, was a bit of a grump. She had fallen off the couch and was hurting. We later found out she had broken her collarbone.
During the ride, Grace decided she was tired of hearing the elf sing so she went up to the front and sang her Christmas songs to the whole train. She got a standing ovation!
Then, Santa came and Grace got to tell him everything she wanted.
And the video…
It was great fun! Thank you Justin, Ashley, and Camden for inviting us!!
We started off the Christmas season with one of my favorite activities. Cutting down the tree!! Things went surprisingly easier this year, I guess we’ve learned from our past mess ups.
Here is Grace beginning our hunt…
And pointing Daddy in the direction of the perfect tree…
Autumn was very excited to be a part of the festivities this year!
When we found the tree Daddy started cutting while Grace and Autumn looked on.
Finally, it was down and Brad and Grace hauled it away.
So I was feeling a bit under the weather and many of the symptoms seemed to mirror pregnancy symptoms so I took a test and WA-LAA! We’re having another baby! After some initial shock Brad and I are very excited, but a little scared about how we’re going to manage three kids under 4.
I am sure life is going to be cra-cra-crazy but we wouldn’t want it any other way. I’m currently 10 weeks along and unable to eat any meat (well except bacon) which made Thanksgiving kind of a downer. But other than that things are great and we can’t wait to meet our newest blessing.
His/her official due date is June 28,2012 but knowing my history this little one should make his/her arrival in early June!
We spent this Thanksgiving at LaLa and Pap Pap’s. Grace wasn’t quite sure what Thanksgiving was all about but she sure had fun playing outside while her Dad and Pap smoked the turkey.
As you can see Brad and Pap made sure that they didn’t miss out on the football.
Grace also had fun helping Aunt Mer in the kitchen.
Autumn, who last year weighed less than the turkey, spent her time playing with toys.
On Friday, we packed up and hit the road for Olive Branch to see Nonna and Papaw.
Grace and Autumn had fun playing with everyone and it’s so cute to see the kids getting so BIG!
When we got back from MS Louie the Elf arrived and brought with him Christmas pjs! We are all ready for the Christmas season to begin!!!
