Grace has made her first “non forced because my mommy is friends with her mommy” friend and her name is Kenadie. Kenadie is super sweet and her mom is super nice too. Kenadie’s mom and I have made an effort to get the girls together outside of Mothers Day Out. They always hug each other when they see each and weep when it’s time to leave.
Easter 2012
We spent Easter weekend at LaLa and Pap’s house and it turned out to be a great time. I got to relax a little bit with the extra help around and the girls love playing at their house.
We had the Mallison girls over to dye eggs and even had an Easter egg hunt.
The funniest thing (and the sweetest) was how attached Autumn was to her Pap. When we arrived Saturday she immediately ran to his chair to see if he was there and when she would wake up from her nap she would say clear as a bell, “Where’s my Pap at?” It’s so sweet to see them play together.

Mommy & Daddy Getaway
Due to Brad’s super hard working self he won top salesman in his office this past year. This allowed us to go OB the “CEO Reward Trip” to Newport Beach, CA for a four night all expenses paid trip to the Resort at Pelican Hill.
This resort was amazing. It was beautiful, well maintained, and super fancy. Brad and I had so much fun seeing a new place and even though it was a trip from work everyone was so nice.
It was really great to spend a few days recharging our batteries before our new sweet bundle of joy arrives. We owe a lot to Brad’s family who watched the girls. The girls had so much fun and it’s much easier to leave them when you know they are in good hands.

St. Patrick’s Day 2012
Grace was actually really curious about what St. Paddy’s Day was all about this year so we spent a few days before looking up stuff on the internet and watching leprechaun videos on YouTube.
Grace decided she wanted to make a leprechaun trap after seeing some online so the day before the big day we sat down and made one out of felt, an oat jar and paper.
I must say I was very impressed with our results…
Grace sat out her trap the night before and was so excited when she woke up the next morning to see if she caught him. While she didn’t catch one he did send her on s scavenger hunt for some treasure which she thought was super fun.
Here’s a video of her finding her “treasure”
Autumn Talks!
Autumn has recently started talking more and more. Of course its only one or two words at a time and most of the time she points and says, “Eh Eh!” BUT it’s still really cute! I’ve been working on her saying everyone in the family’s name, so far she can say “Mama” “Dada” and “Cie-Cie” (which is how she says Gracie). The other day I caught her on video working on saying, “Pap Pap.”
See I told you it was cute!
By far the cutest thing she says is “What’s that?” Brad and I just love to listen to her say it and we love that she’s trying to figure out what everything is in the world. You can also hear in the video that Gracie loves to explain what everything is. She’s such a great big sister.
